We work with family-owned wineries from Italy with very high standards and a careful, attentive approach to winemaking. Our grapes are hand-harvested and traditionally grown.

The Falanghina grapes are grown in Campania, in the warm Mediterranean climate of southern Italy. The vines flourish in the volcanic soils surrounding Mt. Vesuvius, cooled by the seaside breezes of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The unique terroir of the region is what makes the Falanghina so special.

Bella Sirena is a female-founded company that works with family-owned wineries in Italy. Our founder and CEO, Jacqueline Marcus, was savoring a delicious wine during a visit to the Amalfi Coast when she uncovered the hidden treasure of the Falanghina grape. Captivated by the crisp taste and the vibrant culture and beauty of the Amalfi Coast, she was determined to bring this experience back home. Driven by her passion to share the Falanghina with everyone, Jacqueline created Bella Sirena, meaning “beautiful mermaid” in Italian.
